I have been sent from the field of play - what happens?

All players dismissed from the field of play MUST automatically serve a one match suspension.

The Competition Manager will liaise with your Club's appointed delegate to discuss proper penalties for your offense.

The BDSFA Inc has a Mandatory Penalty system for most infringements and if a penalty lower than 6 matches is awarded there is no need for the player to appear before a judiciary board.

If awarded 6 or more matches suspension, you are entitled to appeal the Judiciary's penalty; there is a cost and provisions in the Regulations show how you can appeal and under what conditions.

It is important that you inform your club that you have been dismissed from the field of play as there is NO APPEAL once a mandatory sentence has been accepted by your club. See Library for list of Mandatory Penalties or click here.

Note also, that should you elect to appeal your penalty and you are subsequently found guilty, the Mandatory Sentence no longer applies and a larger penalty could be imposed.
