Become a Game Leader – MiniRoos Match Official

  1. Go onto PlayFootball and search up ‘Blacktown City Soccer Referees Branch.’ Choose either new or returning game leader 2025
  2. You will be contacted by the BDSFA Game leader coordinator for the next steps
  3. If you are unable to register on PlayFootball, email BDSFA Games Leaders Coordinator, Darren Christopher gameleaders@bdsfa.com
  4. Through the BCSRB Teachable, which you can access through the BDSFA website under Game Leader, complete the relevant course. If you have registered as a ‘New Game Leader’ you will receive a code which makes all the courses free.
  5. Complete the online components
  6. Register to a practical session- https://form.jotform.com/243231929052049

Become A Referee

  1. Click on the online courses link above to access EtrainU, the Football Federation Australia training portal
  2. Access ‘Training Library’ on the left-hand side and then click ‘Referee-Community’ and click ‘View Courses’
  3. Enrol in “Laws of the Game’ and complete the course
  4. Enrol into the ‘Junior Match Official (Level 4)’ Course. This will be $30 charged by Football Australia. Select ‘Enrol via Event’
  5. Search and select ‘Blacktown Football’ under Member Association
  6. Find and enrol in an available course
  7. Complete all modules on EtrainU and email appointments@bdsfa.com once completed
  8. Attend and complete the practical course
