When can I Register?
Registrations for the 2021 Winter Football Season are open now!
How much does Registration Cost?
Each club has different costs associated with running their club. Older age groups tend to have higher expenses such as higher referee fees.
What are the Age Groups?
Age groups are defined by the age that you are turning. For example, to play in the under 8’s competition, you must be turning 8 or younger in this calendar year. The only difference is when you play in the Over 30’s or Over 35’s competitions, you must be over the age of 30 or 35 in this calendar year (i.e. you must be 31 or 36 this year).
Age groups commence in the Under 5’s so if your child is turning 5 this year, they can play! The BDSFA provides programs for children under 5. Please check this link for MiniRoo Kick-Off Programs.
When does the season run?
The 2021 season starts on the 9th, 10th and 11th of April. The last round is scheduled to be played on 13th, 14th & 15th of August followed by the semi-finals. MiniRoo age groups do not compete in semi-finals. We play every weekend, including school holidays with the June Long Weekend scheduled to only be used if there are catch-ups to be played.
Most clubs will commence their trial process mid February and will have trial matches against other clubs organised for March.

Most teams will train twice a week at specified training times by your club.
