What is the process of registering to play?
Firstly, your Team Manager will need to nominate the team including Player names. The BDSFA will then contact your Team Manager to confirm acceptance of the team. Once the Team is accepted, then Players may commence registering via DRIBL.
What happens after my team is registered?
After your team is nominated, your manager will receive an email with further details. Please allow up to 7 days to receive this email. Part of that email will direct your players to a link to register and pay online as well as instructions for ordering your team jerseys. Once your players have completed their registration and payment, your team is good to go!
How much is Registration?
Registration fees are $145 for all junior members and $180 for all senior (18+) members. All registrations include a Deploy Football jersey, referee fees, field hire and insurance.
How do I pay for Summer Football?
Only online payments will be accepted for registration via the Dribl registration page.
How many Players are on the field?
The Blacktown Summer Sixes is 6v6 (including a goalkeeper). A team is permitted a maximum of 10 registered players without approval for extra players.
Can I play in multiple teams
You can register in multiple teams for a discounted cost. Please contact the BDSFA office to get a discount code for additional regos.
What nights are the different age groups running?
Monday – All Age Men – Competitive (cash prize) and social divisions
Tuesday – Youth Under 12 through to Under 17
Wednesday – Girls Under 10, Girls Under 12, Girls Under 14 and Girls Under 16 and All Age Women
Thursday – Under 8 through to Under 11, Over 35 Men and All Age Mixed
How many teams are in the Summer Football Competition?
We aim to fill 8 teams in each of the age groups, except for senior men and women where we aim for multiple divisions. First in, best dressed!
When does the season commence and end?
Season commencement is the 29th of September. There will be no games on the public holiday Monday. Finals will commence on the 8th of December. The last finals night is on the 15th of December. Every age group will contest finals. Semi Finals and Grand Finals are played on 1 night.
Who arranges our playing jerseys?
All teams will need to order Deploy playing jerseys. The link to the uniform shop will be included in your team confirmation email. There is no added cost, it is included in your rego If there is a clash of jerseys, the home team must wear bibs available from the canteen.
Do we have to have numbers on our jerseys?
Yes! The playing strip must have a number on it and this number must be listed on the Dribl match sheet
How many divisions are there?
The BDSFA offer multi divisions in the All-Age Competitions. Depending on interest, will see how many divisions are offered in the junior age groups.
What if there are not enough teams to create a competition?
We will endeavour to combine competitions if there are not enough teams. If combining age groups is not an option, we may cancel age groups and offer full refunds.
I don’t have a team to play in, can I register?
We don’t offer any positions to individuals without a team. Your best bet is to reach out to your mates and arrange your own team.
