Blacktown Football Park is a new home to Community FC with their all girls program commencing on the 17th of October.
The Community FC programs have been developed to provide playing, coaching, administrative, and leadership opportunities to aspiring individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Indigenous and newly arrived communities of whom do not have access to affiliated grassroots football due to social and/or economic barriers.
Football NSW’s Charlotte Ercil has been instrumental in establishing the inaugural Blacktown based Community FC program in Blacktown working alongside SydWest Multicultural Services and the Blacktown Football Association.
Community FC aims to provide an avenue for integration, social cohesion and harmony using football as a vehicle for social change and to ensure that those that are inactive due to their lack of access to grassroots football are provided with the same opportunity as others.
