Football is the fastest growing sport for participation for females. The BDSFA  acknowledge the potential growth and are embracing female football with open arms. The BDSFA has a concentration on developing the younger age groups, especially the under 9 and under 10’s.

Development and participation are increased with the BDSFA managing the Phoenix League, which has provided multiple playing divisions in each age group, enabling players to oppose players, and teams of similar ability. The Phoenix League is the initiatives of a combined effort between the BDSFA and the GDSFA. The player catchment areas cover as far from Lidcombe to Windsor.

Women’s football is the largest growth area of the BDSFA. With five divisions of All Age and two divisions of Over 30’s, there is sure to be a spot for you.

Whether you are a seasoned expert or just beginning your footballing journey, the BDSFA can provide every participant a place to enjoy their football on either a Friday night for Over 30’s or Sunday’s for under 9 through to All Age.
